Our History
Since August 1999, we've been on a mission to protect and support abused, neglected, and homeless animals. What started as a dream has grown into a thriving non-profit organization, and we're just getting started! You probably know us best for the Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Pet Parade that lights up the Mardi Gras season, but we're excited to share that we’re expanding our reach with even more charitable events year-round.
Our group is a vibrant mix of animal lovers, and we’re growing fast! We’re thrilled to welcome all our new members and deeply grateful for the unwavering support from our incredible sponsors and volunteers. Your passion fuels our vision for the future.
